Silk Treasures

An oil painting of three to five everyday objects for a beginner painting course. The objective of the painting was to choose objects that had a varying range of colors and incorporated an element of surprise. The objects I chose were a lemon juicer, dice, a golf ball, a flashlight, and a makeup brush. These objects were placed against a royal blue silk fabric and painted using glazing techniques.
